My family and I live together in our middling sort home. I have six kids. My apprentice, Charity Nicolson, lives with the family too. My husband is named William Adamson and he has the occupation of being the master of the cabinetmaker shop. My 15 year-old son is no longer with us because he is apprenticed in the blacksmith shop.
Religion and Education
Only half of my family received formal education. My sons go to school and I wish I could do the same for my daughters, but sadly, I'm not able to send my girls to school. I teach my daughters how to read from the bible and a small amount of arithmetic as my mother did for me. Going to church for the six hour services on Sunday is just as important as my family's education. Every sunday, we dress in our fanciest clothes for church. The tithingman always seems to be bonking my child, Jacob, in the head with his knob. That silly Jacob. I'm surprised he's not in the stockades.
